Description

The National Action Plan to Combat Desertification 2014-2022 of Honduras is an instrument developed through a participatory regional consultation process to combat land degradation and mitigate the effects of drought. This document aligns with the Nation Plan, Country Vision and the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Ten-Year Strategy. It establishes strategic guidelines for sustainable land management, involving various institutional and community stakeholders in its implementation. It was developed with the support of Guayacán Consultores, funding from the Global Environment Facility and technical support from FAO-Honduras.
