Description

The Technical standards and guidelines for the preparation of forest management plans and operational plans for broadleaf forests constitute a regulatory instrument developed by the National Institute of Forest Conservation and Development, Protected Areas and Wildlife (ICF) of Honduras. This framework establishes technical guidelines to achieve sustainable forest management of broadleaf forests, ensuring biodiversity conservation, sustainability of forest resources, and socioeconomic development of forest-dependent communities. The standards promote community forestry and define standardized procedures for the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of management plans in broadleaf forests.
