Description

The National Biodiversity Action Plan (NBAP) 2012-2016 of Suriname is a strategic document developed by the Ministry of Labour, Technological Development and Environment of Suriname. This plan establishes the guidelines and priority actions for the conservation and sustainable use of the country's biological diversity over a five-year period. Prepared with the contribution of multiple partners and with financial support from the Government of Suriname and GEF/UNDP, the plan seeks to integrate biodiversity protection with national development.
