Description

This guide establishes procedures, environmental and social good practices for forest conservation in protected areas under the REDD+ mechanism in the Dominican Republic. Its objective is to systematize the necessary processes for the development of practices that guarantee compliance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework of the Emission Reduction Program, promoting the involvement of local social actors. It includes guidelines for adaptive processes, conflict management, participatory consultations, sustainable development plans and monitoring, considering the UNFCCC Safeguards and the World Bank's Operational Policies.
