Framework of the Guyana Green State Development Strategy

The Framework of the Guyana Green State Development Strategy establishes the vision and principles to guide Guyana's transition towards a green, inclusive, and prosperous economy. This framework identifies seven central themes for sustainable development: green and inclusive structural transformation, sustainable management of natural resources, energy transition to renewable sources, resilient infrastructure, human development and well-being, institutional governance, and international cooperation. The document proposes financing mechanisms and resource mobilization strategies, as well as a monitoring and evaluation system to ensure effective implementation of the strategy and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
