Fecha de inicio: 01/01/2010
Fecha de fin: 29/12/2030

Description

The Intended Nationally Determined Contribution of the Dominican Republic establishes the country's commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change, aligned with its development vision for 2030. The document proposes a 25% reduction in emissions compared to the 2010 base year by 2030, conditional on favorable climate financing, and prioritizes adaptation as a constitutional mandate in vulnerable sectors such as water, energy, protected areas, human settlements, and tourism. The INDC-DR is based on the National Development Strategy 2030, the National Climate Change Policy, the Climate Compatible Development Plan, and the National Adaptation Action Plan.
