The National Culture Policy 2030 is an instrument of the Peruvian State that recognizes citizens as the central axis of cultural development, promoting their right to access, participate in and contribute to the country's cultural life. Mandatory for all levels of government, the PNC offers key tools for strengthening agrifood systems with a territorial, intercultural and sustainable approach, by integrating biocultural heritage, ethnic diversity and traditional practices into public policies. Among its main contributions are the recognition of structural limitations in the exercise of cultural rights, especially in rural and Andean territories; its articulation with the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030) and the Vision of Peru to 2050, promoting development with identity; the strengthening of cultural institutions and the improvement of governance aimed at social inclusion, environmental sustainability, creative economy and citizen participation; as well as a flexible and dynamic approach that encourages monitoring, evaluation and incorporation of contributions from citizens and territories.
