(Es) (Ecuador) Ministerial Agreement No. 78: To issue the Registration of the Family Farming label to producers and their organizations

The Agreement approves the instructions for the voluntary and free registration and use of the Family Farming (AFC) label by producers and their organizations. Its objective is to officially recognize the sector for its productive, social, economic, and environmental contributions, as well as to make its products more visible to consumers by highlighting their social origin, sustainability, and biodiversity. It also aims to promote direct marketing through alternative channels. The Agreement is published in Official Registry No. 471, dated January 5, 2024.
