Description

The law regulates comprehensive disaster risk management processes in Ecuador, including prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery from emergencies of natural or human origin. It establishes the functioning of the National Decentralized Risk Management System and creates several specialized committees. It also provides for the development of a long-term national policy with a minimum horizon of fifteen years. It can be found in the Official Registry, Supplement 488, dated January 30, 2024.
