(Es) (Ecuador) Law amending the Organic Code of Territorial Organization, Autonomy and Decentralization (COOTAD)

This regulatory reform to the Organic Code of Territorial Organization, Autonomy, and Decentralization (COOTAD) establishes new legal and administrative procedures and the new political and administrative organization of the Ecuadorian State within the territory. In particular, it establishes new guidelines related to the Code regarding: decentralized autonomous government, the constitutional principles of equity and gender parity, among other topics.
