Description

The Law for the Creation of the Salvadoran Quality System establishes the institutional structure and mechanisms to develop, strengthen and facilitate the quality culture in El Salvador, promoting the competitiveness of producers, importers, exporters and traders of goods and services. This regulation creates the National Quality Council as the governing body and four specialized agencies: the Salvadoran Standardization Organization, the Salvadoran Technical Regulation Organization, the Salvadoran Accreditation Organization, and the Metrology Research Center. The law seeks to contribute to protecting consumer rights and the environment, ensuring the safety and quality of products and services in the country.
