The Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity is a regional initiative established by twelve democratic countries in the Western Hemisphere with the purpose of responding to the needs of their people through good governance and economic opportunities. It seeks to accelerate economic growth in the region to eliminate poverty, reduce inequality and ensure that the benefits of this growth are widely shared. It promotes cooperation in areas such as supply chains, sustainable energy, inclusive trade, digitalization and public and private investment. It represents a shared vision of development, democracy and inclusive prosperity to strengthen regional economic resilience in the face of crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and global inflationary pressures.
