Description
The National Sustainable Bioeconomy Strategy (ENBS) presents an analysis of the national context, identifies the key production complexes and defines the axes and strategic lines for the development of the bioeconomy in Uruguay with a time horizon of 2050. It was prepared with the leadership of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries and the participation, in its different stages of preparation, of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning, the Ministry of Environment (former MVOTMA), the Office of Planning and Budget, the former National Secretariat for Productive Transformation and Competitiveness and the National Institute of Agricultural Research, the National Agency for Research and Innovation, the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation, the National Council for Innovation, Science and Technology, the University of the Republic, the Technological University and Uruguay XXI.
