IDB Group Country Strategy with El Salvador 2021-2024

Strategic framework that establishes the cooperation priorities of the IDB Group with El Salvador for the 2021-2024 period, with the objective of mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the country's prospects to achieve more vigorous, inclusive and sustainable growth. The strategy proposes an approach that responds to immediate needs associated with the health crisis and its socioeconomic impact, as well as the process of growth reactivation. It focuses on three priority areas: fiscal efficiency and sustainability, reduction of social vulnerability, and productive reactivation and reconversion. It incorporates crosscutting aspects of gender equality, climate change, environmental sustainability and institutional capacity.
