The Strategic Framework of the Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock 2019-2021 establishes the vision to enhance the livestock sector's contribution to sustainable development through a multi-stakeholder process. The framework focuses on three main outcomes: enhancing policy dialogue on livestock sustainability issues, generating and communicating evidence, and advocating practice and policy change. It operates under four sustainability domains: food and nutrition security, livelihoods and economic growth, animal health and welfare, and climate and natural resource use. The initiative facilitates dialogue among all stakeholders, assembles and communicates evidence, and advocates practice and policy change.
