Description

The regulation establishes a set of rules established to regulate the aerial application of agrochemicals in the national territory. This regulation is mandatory for all entities and persons involved in agricultural aviation, including the handling of authorized pesticides and the use of aircraft to distribute these products in agriculture. Different methods of aerial application are detailed, such as conventional volume, low volume and ultra-low volume application, in addition to establishing specifications and responsibilities for the operation and conservation areas. The regulation also addresses the structure and functions of the Agricultural Aviation Commission, which oversees compliance with these regulations. It defines waste management, preparation and storage of agrochemicals, and establishes the requirements for operating and exploitation permits that companies must obtain to carry out these activities. Occupational health and safety measures are included for the personnel involved, ensuring that operations are carried out safely and in compliance with environmental and health laws.
