Health Alert Declaration due to the risk of introduction of the Cattle Screwworm Disease (GBG) in Honduras

Description

The Agreement declares a Health Alert due to the risk of the introduction of the Cattle Screwworm (GBG) into the country. This agreement establishes a prevention plan, epidemiological surveillance and additional measures at border points to prevent the spread of this disease, which affects warm-blooded animals, including humans. Exhaustive physical inspections, control of animal movement and prevention measures are ordered in risk areas, with the aim of protecting the livestock sector.
