Description

The Costa Rican Network for the Reduction of Food Loss and Waste, created in 2014, aims to reduce food loss and waste in Costa Rica. It is made up of public, private, academic and citizen sectors, and is coordinated by the Costa Rican Institute of Technology (TEC), with the support of FAO. The Network conducts case studies in agro-chains, awareness-raising activities, training and development of strategies to reduce food waste.
