Coffee and Forests Agreement – Peru

Collective action agreement aimed at promoting a sustainable and deforestation-free coffee value chain in Peru through coordination among public and private actors, producer organizations and other entities linked to the sector. The agreement establishes commitments to promote deforestation-free coffee production and sourcing, conserve and restore forests and degraded areas, sustainably improve coffee productivity, generate and transfer knowledge and technologies, strengthen information and traceability across the value chain, and position Peruvian coffee in markets based on its origin, quality and sustainability attributes.
