Description

The Collective Action Agreement on Cocoa, Forests and Diversity is a collaborative initiative between various actors in the cocoa and environmental sector in Peru. Its objective is to promote sustainable practices in cocoa production, ensuring the conservation of forests and biodiversity. This agreement seeks to implement measures to ensure that cocoa production does not contribute to deforestation and meets rigorous environmental standards. It is part of efforts to comply with international regulations such as the European Union's Deforestation Free Products Regulation, ensuring that Peruvian products meet sustainability and environmental responsibility criteria.
