Decree No. 1097 of 2020 - Creates the National Commission for Indigenous Women

This Decree creates the National Commission for Indigenous Women of the Permanent Table for Consultation with Indigenous Peoples and Organizations, as a technical working body on issues related to indigenous women, families and generations and other matters defined on the agenda of the aforementioned Commission. The purpose of the National Commission on Indigenous Women shall be to guide and contribute technically to the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, plans and projects that develop the rights of indigenous women, families and generations.
