Based on the intercultural approach, which implies that the State values and incorporates the different cultural visions, conceptions of well-being and development of the various ethnic-cultural groups for the generation of culturally relevant services, the promotion of intercultural citizenship based on dialogue and differentiated attention to indigenous peoples and the Afro-Peruvian population, The specific guidelines for incorporating the intercultural approach in the prevention, care and protection against sexual violence against indigenous or native girls, boys, adolescents and women, include: 1) In prevention; 2) In care, through the design, strengthening and implementation of simple, efficient, flexible and bilingual procedures and formalities that respect the rights of indigenous or native peoples; 3) In protection.
