General Law for Equality between Women and Men

The purpose of this Law is to regulate and guarantee equality of opportunity and treatment between women and men, to propose guidelines and institutional mechanisms that guide the Nation towards the fulfillment of substantive equality in the public and private spheres, promoting the empowerment of women and the fight against all discrimination based on sex.
