National Gender Equity Programme 2006-2010

The general objective of the Programme is to promote gender equity among Nicaraguan women and men during the five-year period 2006-2010. In other words, the Program seeks to contribute to creating conditions that generate improvements in gender equity in areas such as the eradication of violence, education, health, employment and access to and control of productive economic resources and political participation; as urgent objectives of a national strategy for sustainable economic and human development.
