Description

The Hemispheric Fund for the Resilience and Sustainability of Agriculture in the Americas is a multilateral cooperation mechanism led by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA). Its objective is to mobilize, manage and execute economic resources to improve the institutional, technical and administrative capacities of agricultural systems in the Americas. The fund focuses on strengthening resilience and adaptive capacity to health and environmental emergencies, prioritizing the smallest countries with the least economic capacity. In addition, it seeks to promote the recovery of agricultural production systems affected by catastrophic climate phenomeno.
