Description
The resolution details the incorporation of incentives for the use of agricultural insurance and technical assistance in agricultural areas as part of the Agricultural Competitiveness Program. The main objective is to encourage and support technological transformation processes to increase productivity, accompanied by technical assistance and agricultural risk mitigation measures. The resolution authorizes specific investments, such as the recognition of an investment equivalent to 3% of the production cost of the respective agricultural sector for technical assistance services, and the recognition of 50% of the amount of the premium invoiced for production insurance policies. To implement technical assistance, beneficiaries must hire suitable professionals through credit institutions such as banks or cooperatives. These entities will verify the contracting and request disbursement from the trustor, who will issue the corresponding disbursement order. The trustee will send the disbursement amount to the credit institution for the respective amortization. In the case of production insurance, the beneficiaries will contract the policies with an authorized institution, and the insurer will send the documentation to the trustor, who will also issue the corresponding disbursement order. The trustee will send the disbursement amount to the insurer as recognition of the investments in production insurance policies.
