Law No. 29148 - Law establishing the implementation and operation of the Agricultural Guarantee and Insurance Fund

Law establishing the implementation and operation of the Agricultural Guarantee and Insurance Fund (FOGASA). The Fund aims to guarantee loans granted by financial institutions to organized small and medium-sized rural producers whose activities are oriented toward domestic and international markets, and to finance agricultural insurance mechanisms designed to reduce agricultural producers exposure to natural, climatic, biological and other exceptional risks that adversely affect their production and profitability, including peasant and native communities, small family farmers and medium-sized farmers.
