Description

This decree regulates the Environmental Reserve Quota (CRA) in Brazil, establishing the procedures for its issuance, registration, transfer, use and cancellation. The CRA is an important instrument for compensating legal reserve deficits and promoting the conservation of areas with native vegetation. The decree defines the responsibilities of landowners, state agencies and the Brazilian Forest Service in the management of this instrument.
