Decree No. 6.660 on the use and protection of native vegetation in the Atlantic Forest Biome

This decree regulates Law No. 11,428 of 2006 on the use and protection of native vegetation in the Atlantic Forest Biome in Brazil. It establishes detailed rules on the use, conservation, cutting and suppression of vegetation at different stages of regeneration. It includes provisions on the protection of threatened species and regulates activities in permanent preservation areas. It also addresses ecological enrichment, planting and reforestation with native species, and municipal plans for the conservation and recovery of the Atlantic Forest.
