Description

Decree No. 4.339 establishes the principles and guidelines for the implementation of the National Biodiversity Policy in Brazil. This policy encompasses various components such as knowledge, conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, as well as monitoring, evaluation and mitigation of impacts. It also includes aspects on access to genetic resources, traditional knowledge and benefit-sharing. The policy seeks to involve all levels of government and civil society in its implementation.
