Agreement No. 20/12 - Manual of Simplified Standards for the preparation of management plans and operational plans in mixed coniferous and broadleaf forests and agroforestry systems on land equal to or less than one hundred hectares

The main objective of the decree is to approve the Manual of Simplified Standards for the preparation of Management Plans and Operational Plans in Mixed Coniferous and Broadleaf Forests and Agroforestry Systems on land equal to or less than one hundred hectares. This manual is aimed at the correct application of current forestry legislation, simplifying and promoting sustainable forest management. Specific objectives include the protection and conservation of forest resources, the improvement of administration and efficiency in administrative procedures related to forest management, as well as the establishment of new forests regardless of the ownership regime. The main actions established in the decree include the planning and regulation of production, industrialization, marketing and mobilization of forest products. In addition, emphasis is placed on the protection of water courses and sources, the prevention and control of fires, and the correct management of waste generated by forestry activities.
