Law 1032 of 2006 - Amendment of Articles 257, 271, 272 and 306 of the Criminal Code

Law amending Articles 257, 271, 272 and 306 of the Colombian Criminal Code. In matters related to the agrifood sector, it amends Article 306 concerning the infringement of industrial property rights and plant breeders rights. It establishes imprisonment and fines for the fraudulent infringement of legally protected plant breeders rights and extends these penalties to persons who finance, supply, distribute, offer for sale, commercialize, transport or acquire for commercial or intermediary purposes goods or plant material produced, cultivated or distributed under such circumstances.
