Global Gateway European Union

The European Union's Global Gateway is a strategic initiative that seeks to mobilize up to €300 billion between 2021 and 2027 to invest in high-quality infrastructure around the world. This program aims to address global challenges such as climate change, health security, digitalization, gender equality and education by developing sustainable and resilient infrastructure. It focuses on priority areas such as digitalization, clean energy, transportation, health and education, promoting democratic values, high standards, good governance and transparency. The Global Gateway will be implemented through collaboration with partner countries, financial institutions and the private sector, fostering a favorable investment environment aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.
