Decree No. 11,452 establishes the Program for the Economic and Productive Organization of Rural Women

Description

The main objective of the program is to promote the economic autonomy of women in the countryside, waters and forests, through the integration of public policies. The guidelines of the program include the promotion of gender, race, ethnicity and generation equality, the recognition of the different ways of life of traditional peoples and communities, the strengthening of the feminist and solidarity economy, the promotion of agroecology and food security, among others. The beneficiaries of the program are women established in the agrarian reform, women in family agriculture, extractivists, artisanal fisherwomen, aquaculturists and women from indigenous peoples and communities, quilombolas and other traditional peoples and communities. The program will be developed through various actions, such as support for access to productive promotion and rural credit programs, technical assistance, training in cooperatives and business management, support for access to public purchases and markets, and development of social and sustainable technologies.
