Description

Decree 7,352 of 2010 establishes the rural education policy in Brazil, aimed at expanding and qualifying the provision of basic and higher education to rural populations. It outlines the principles, mechanisms, and actions for the development of this policy by the federal government in collaboration with states and municipalities. It defines rural populations and schools, as well as the implementation of rural education through training of professionals, infrastructure, transportation, materials, and adequate resources. Furthermore, the decree regulates the National Program of Education in Agrarian Reform (Pronera).
