Description
Supreme Decree No. 1939 aims to regulate Law No. 448 of December 4, 2013, which refers to the components of several national programs aimed at comprehensive sustainable rural development. These programs include the National Fruit Program, the National Vegetable Production Program, and the National Small Ruminants and Fisheries Program. The National Fruit Program seeks to improve the development of primary fruit production and processing. Its components include strengthening primary production, post-harvest and marketing, organizational strengthening and community administrative management, and financial services. The National Vegetable Production Program focuses on strengthening the vegetable production system, with components that cover production and productive infrastructure, technological research and innovation, training and technical assistance, and financial services. The National Small Ruminant Program aims to improve the development and productive capacity of sheep and goats, with components of genetic improvement, management of native grasslands, productive infrastructure, and financial services. Finally, the National Fisheries Program seeks to strengthen the development of fishing and aquaculture, with components of infrastructure and equipment, production of genetic material and food, training and technical assistance, and financial services.
