Law 160 of 1994 – National Agrarian Reform and Peasant Rural Development System

Law establishing the National Agrarian Reform and Peasant Rural Development System and mechanisms to promote and consolidate rural land ownership, facilitate access to land for agricultural workers, support land acquisition and allocation, establish Peasant Reserve Zones, regulate the allocation of public lands, and develop land improvement and rural service programs. It establishes subsidy and credit mechanisms for land acquisition and institutional procedures for agrarian reform and peasant rural development.
