Law 2303 of 2023 – Sanitary Priority for the Prevention, Mitigation, Eradication, Containment and Renewal of Crops Affected by Fusarium R4T, HLB, Bud Rot and Lethal Wilt

Law declaring the prevention, mitigation, eradication, containment and renewal of crops affected by Fusarium R4T in plantain and banana, Huanglongbing (HLB) in citrus, and bud rot and lethal wilt in oil palm as matters of national social interest and sanitary priority. It establishes national programmes and commissions and provides for research, phytosanitary surveillance and control, biosecurity, traceability, risk assessment, training, movement controls for plant material, compensation and sanctions.
