National Policy on Sustainable Production and Consumption – Towards a Culture of Sustainable Consumption and Productive Transformation

National policy aimed at shifting production and consumption patterns in Colombian society toward environmental sustainability by reducing pollution, conserving natural resources, improving the environmental integrity of goods and services, promoting the sustainable use of biodiversity, and contributing to business competitiveness and population well-being. It integrates and updates the National Cleaner Production Policy and the National Green Markets Plan and promotes sustainable procurement, regulatory strengthening, capacity building and research, environmental culture and self-management, value-chain collaboration, and green businesses.
