Description

The Resolution establishes the requirements for the registration and control of people dedicated to the commercialization of agricultural inputs and seeds for planting in Colombia. This regulation, issued by the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), applies to all natural and legal persons involved in these activities through commercial establishments. Defines key concepts such as conditioning, storage, bioinputs, marketing, among others. Article 4 details the documents necessary for registration, including the signed application, certificates of existence and legal representation, concepts of sanitary operation, certificates of land use and technical management contracts with authorized professionals. The resolution also specifies the obligations of registration holders, such as keeping the marketing certificate visible, complying with labeling and packaging standards, and returning expired or altered products. Likewise, it establishes strict prohibitions, such as the marketing of inputs without ICA registration and the sale of products in unauthorized places.
