Description

Resolution 1558 of 2010 establishes provisions for the import and export of plants, plant products, regulated articles, animals and their products. This regulation aims to prevent the introduction and spread of pests and diseases that may affect agriculture and livestock in Colombia. Specifies the requirements for importation, including the need for a phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin and other specific documents. For export, a phytosanitary certificate must be obtained that meets the requirements of the destination country. In addition, the resolution establishes sanctions for non-compliance with its provisions and repeals previous regulations.
