CONPES 4098 – Policy to Promote Agricultural Competitiveness

National policy aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Colombia's agricultural sector by developing appropriate conditions for the creation and sustainability of rural businesses, strengthening the provision of sectoral goods and services, increasing total factor productivity, and developing efficient agricultural markets. The policy includes actions related to rural planning and land-property formalization, productive and agrologistics infrastructure, agricultural science, technology and innovation, extension and technical assistance, access to finance, sectoral information, marketing and reduced intermediation, with the objective of improving producers' sustainable participation in markets and their living conditions.
