Law No. 3525 – Law on the Regulation and Promotion of Ecological Agricultural and Non-Timber Forest Production

Law No. 3525 regulates, promotes and strengthens the sustainable development of ecological agricultural and non-timber forest production in Bolivia, covering production, processing, industrialization and marketing. It establishes technical standards and mechanisms for certification and control of ecological production; creates the National Council for Ecological Production (CNAPE) and the National Ecological Production Control System under SENASAG; establishes the National Ecological Products Seal and recognizes certification systems for domestic and international markets. It also provides for training, research and innovation, promotion of ecological production, and preferential public procurement of ecological products.
