Description

The regulation aims to regulate the production, processing and marketing of organic agricultural products and define the regulations for the different stages of the processes and their certification. In addition, it aims to establish mechanisms to protect consumers against deception and fraud in the market and against unproven product claims. It also aims to establish mechanisms to protect organic producers against false descriptions of other uncontrolled agricultural products that are presented as organic. Finally, it is intended to ensure that all stages of production, processing, preparation, storage, transport and trade are subject to inspection and comply with these guidelines.
