Description
The Regulation, which consists of 14 titles and 163 articles, aims to establish the technical, administrative and legal provisions for the implementation of the provisions on surveillance, diagnosis and phytosanitary campaigns contemplated in the Phytozoosanitary Law, through actions to detect and diagnose pests of quarantine, economic and social importance that threaten the plant health of the country and define strategies for their management. The programs and actions to be adopted and developed in terms of surveillance, diagnosis and phytosanitary campaigns will be directed and coordinated by the National Agricultural Health Service (SENASA), through the Department of diagnosis, surveillance and phytosanitary campaigns of the Technical Subdirectorate of Plant Health, with the effective participation of the productive sector and related entities.
