Decree No. 7-2020 Protection Law for the Cultivation of Plantains and Bananas Guatemala

Description

The purpose of the Law is to protect banana and plantain crops throughout the national territory, in the face of the risk and threat of diseases and pests that attack and destroy these crops, especially those related to the disease known as Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense (Foc R4T). Establishes the actions, regulations and phytosanitary measures for the prevention and containment of wilt caused by said disease, and any other that may affect related crops. Protection measures are specified in ports; airports and customs warehouses; land customs and temporary customs warehouses; farms, plots, land and cultivation and production units.
