Forest Act (Proposed Forest Act)

This act outlines a framework and roadmap for long-term actions to address illegal deforestation. These actions involve coordinating work with interagency groups, an advisory council of experts, and governments of other countries. Passage of the FORESTRY Act would restrict the importation of wood products from illegally deforested lands by the United States.
