Description

This decree establishes specific standards to guarantee the safety and quality of food, especially those intended for donation. It also emphasizes the importance of healthy eating and state responsibility in promoting food sovereignty, ensuring that all citizens have access to safe, nutritious and sufficient food. Additionally, the regulation defines roles and obligations for different actors in the food chain, including producers, distributors and consumers. Rigorous criteria are established for the donation of processed foods and the implementation of health safety measures. The decree seeks to encourage citizen participation and inter-institutional cooperation through awareness-raising and training campaigns, seeking to optimize the use of resources and reduce the environmental impact of food waste.
