Colombia Biodiversity Action Plan 2016–2030

Colombia’s 2016–2030 Biodiversity Action Plan serves as the operational instrument for implementing the National Policy for the Integrated Management of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (PNGIBSE). The Plan establishes targets and actions for 2020, 2025, and 2030 regarding ecosystem conservation and restoration, governance, sustainable economic development, knowledge generation, risk management, ecosystem services, and international commitments. It includes cross-sectoral actions to reduce pressures on biodiversity, strengthen protected areas, promote sustainable production and development models, implement environmental incentives, bolster information systems, and advance processes for productive and agricultural transformation.
