Description
Colombia’s Energy Transition Policy, approved via CONPES 4075 of 2022, establishes cross-sector actions to strengthen energy security and reliability, promote innovation and technological development, enhance the energy sector's competitiveness, and advance toward a system with lower greenhouse gas emissions. The policy encompasses measures regarding energy efficiency, the expansion of electricity coverage, digitalization, the development of new technologies, the strengthening of energy markets, and technological upgrading in transport, with an implementation horizon of 2022–2028.
